Hiding Dragon 2017 No.311

Hiding Dragon (隐藏龙) is a Longjing-style premium green tea, plucked from wild-grown bushes in Zhejiang province, China.
South from Hangzhou we became friends with an elder gentleman who produces green tea. For his tea he went around in the nearby forest and plucked the young leaves and buds of wild-grown tea bushes. Then, he carefully shaped the leaves as though that of a Longjing (龙井, meaning is dragon well), hence the name. We very much liked his vocation and the graceful way he makes tea, and so have immediately decided to bring it home.
Thanks to the carefully rolled, young leaves and tiny buds, it has extremely mellow, yet refreshing brew. A kind, vivid, bracing tea which combines well the almost japanese-like greenness with the characteristics of a more baked green tea with its nutty flavours. It has a long-lasting, mildly sweet aftertaste.

Preparing Instructions:

Quantity: 5-6 gramm per 150ml.
Water temperature: 70-75ºC. From fresh spring water or filtered water.
Brewing time: 8-10…seconds
Infusions: 6-8
