We bought our first vintage from this puer tea in 2018, it was picked near the village of Mang Fei – 忙 肺, Lincang county, Yunnan. The tea garden is located on the Great Snow Mountain range (Da Xue Shan 大雪山). Our local tea-making friends drew our attention to an acquaintance who farmed nearby, said to have a tea of high quality and purity similar to theirs. After tasting the sample, we also ordered this puer tea, remarkable cleanness, soft and strong fruitiness. In its style it is similar to the teas in the area, a bit cooler, more flowery, fresh tea with a great aroma, depth and taste.
Now, in 2021, we again had the opportunity to buy Mang Fei tea in larger batch, this time it is pressed into 200 gram cakes.
