An exciting Georgian white tea
Fresh apple compote with citrus notes
Organic tea garden grown on our own estate, hand-picked

Altitude:
300–500 m

A cheerful, refreshing white tea from our collaboratively cultivated plantation in the Georgian mountains, harvested in late April 2025. Georgia produces truly cheerful teas that always bring a smile to our faces. A small batch that ages well, it develops in an exciting way.

Georgian tea production, with a history dating back centuries, was revived when Hannes and his friends founded the Renegades tea garden a few years ago. This tea comes from these century-old plantations, organic farming, hand-picking, and constant experimentation amidst the breathtaking Georgian mountains. Every year, we introduce a new tea from our collaboratively cultivated tea garden.

The dry aroma of the leaves hints at dried apricots, jujubes, and citrus notes. After steeping, it reveals notes of cinnamon-spiced baked apples, hyacinth, and butter. The first, longer 30-second pour yields a smooth, buttery, rounded sip, with flavors of pear, apple compote, and subtle hints of cinnamon. In subsequent pours, citrus and oily notes emerge, followed by steamed beans, peas, and slightly greener notes, adding depth to the experience.

Amount: 6 grams of tea per 150 ml of water
Water temperature: 85°C. Use fresh boiling water, mineral water, or filtered water
Steeping time: 20…seconds
Number of infusions: 4–5
