Origins
Long, long time ago, deep in the mountains of south China, close to Burma, people discovered the power of a certain leaf. The infusion of these leaves made the body relaxed, the mind centered and calm. In this area we can find the oldest tea trees of the world: 200, 300, 500 and even 1000 years old trees. Tasting and drinking the tea made of leaves from old trees brings a unique and uplifting experience.

The birthplace of Tea
The birthplace of Puer tea is indeed where all stories about tea began. Nowhere in the World can we find tea trees, specially this age. The three main regions for puer tea are located in Yunnan province, but there are very old trees over the border, in Burma as well. Here on this map you can spot these areas.

All about Puer tea
Zhao Zhou tea is dedicated mainly to sheng (raw or living ) puer teas. We highly appreciate and love good white tea, oolong tea and others, but we feel that what we were looking for, we have found in puer tea. There are great tastes, fragrances, colorful flavors is good teas, but the depth of even a few years old sheng puer, coming from old trees is incomparable.
