On the slopes of the Hungarian Heves county 20-25 meters high, giant Walnuts live. Our Walnut leaves tea came from there, where the locals made this product with a lot of care, thus the leaves preserve their amazing oily green color. The healing effects of the Walnut leave infusion are well-known from traditional medicine; it’s a really good digestive, blood pressure controller, and strengthening for the body and mind. These outstanding Walnut leaves have a true gastronomical value beyond the healing effects. A great choice for every time of the day, as its infusion is caffeine-free. We recommend using it as a cure, like every herbal infusion. Unfortunately, this tisane is not recommended during pregnancy.
We made it in gaiwan to get more concentrated tastes. We found really exciting spicy notes and mustard between the smells. In the first pourings, the tastes were more acidic, then it turn to pleasant gentle notes. Beyond the light tartness of walnut, there was a constantly changing spiciness with a nice fresh feeling.
