Reed mace, cattail weaving is a traditional Hungarian craft dating back centuries. It is mainly spread in the Great Plain region, still made in Szeged region.
We decided to support this tradition, looked for domestic mat makers to weave our matcha mats.
It gives an excellent, natural atmosphere for Matcha preparation, but can be used as a base for all kinds of tea making.
