Outstanding puer tea from old, 500 years old trees which are growing on the famous Nannuo mountain. The Nannuoshan is one of the oldest tea mountains, enough that the tea production of this region started in the 2nd century. According to the old phrase, the best teas always came from the high and foggy mountains. With its 1800 meters height and with more than 100 foggy days per year, the Nannuoshan is an ideal place to make really exciting teas. We are introducing one such tea.

Steamed gaiwan: smoky, sweet, and walnutty
Tastes, feeling:  The walnutty notes were in the first steeping also. In the second steeping the smoky notes strengthened, these were green smoky notes, like when you fire fresh greens. Later we found some acrid tastes with vegetables, like turpins, and horse-radish. The strong cha qi is clearly sensible from the second glass; focus, dynamism, tranquility, and the feeling of desire to act.

Quantity: 5-6 grams per 150 ml
Water temperature: 85-90ºC. From fresh, cold spring water or filtered water
Brewing time: 3-5-7…seconds
Infusions: 10-12
