butter croissant, pine and citrus notes
hand-picked green tea from the Himalayas
refreshing and dynamic tea for every day

Elevation:
1600-1800 meters

Himalayan Pine from the amazing slopes of the Nepali side of the Himalaya. Thanks to the traditional Chinese/Taiwanese tea-making style we got a really flavorful tea; flowery and green notes with the sweeter crunchy, biscuit-like flavors. A really nice refreshing and dynamic green tea for starting the day. Worth trying in cold-brew also.

Every Nepali tea we have originates from the organic Jun Chiyabari tea garden, located in the Himalayas around 1800 meters above sea level. Due to this clear-out area in every tea there lies a deep elation.

Steamed fragrance of chestnut, resin bark. The wet leaves recall buttered toast and edamame beans. Steeped at 85 degrees for 10 seconds, its brew evokes crispy buttery croissants. With further infusions, the puff pastry aroma disappears and piney citrus notes emerge, with a cheerful floral aroma. There is a slight astringency on the palate and a sheng puer-like finish that lingers.

Quantity: 5-6 grams per 150ml
Water temperature: 85ºC. From fresh spring, mineral water, or filtered water
Brewing time: 15, 20, 25… seconds
Infusions: 5-6
