New tea producer in our black tea range. We have only bought old tree puer from them, this year for the first time we have ordered some Spring harvest green and black teas. The tea bushes are 80+ years old, organically farmed and the farmers picked beautiful small leaves for the teas. Watching the leaves open up after each infusion is visually captivating. They are beautiful golden brown little rolls, opening to a full bud of two leaves. An everyday warming, soothing tea.

Steamed leaves: caramel, pleasant smokiness, more like toasted seeds
Brewed with 90 degrees water, brings full mouth filling sweetness, notes of sweet potato, caramelized nuts, honey. In a sense similar to sun-dried Yunnan black teas, and has nice digestive effect.
"It can completely turn off the mind racing. After a few sips the only thing I cared about was the trees in bloom. My day was brisk, balanced and energized."
