A true speciality from the Great Snow Mountain (Da Xue Shan). In addition to the age of the tea trees, the charm of this tea lies in the fact that it comes from wild trees. This is what the name Yesheng (野生) refers to. These wild trees come from a different subspecies of the tea plant (Canelia sinensis) called dehongensis. A peculiarity of this subspecies is that the buds are often purple (ziya, 紫芽). Teas from old trees (gushu) always contain something extra; this can be called the message of the tea, or chá qi. Tea is both soothing and deeply energising. As it spreads through us, it focuses our attention, helping us to relax and focus inward. In terms of taste, it has the mild bitter-sour flavour of wild tea trees, complemented in our case by a pleasantly sweet green tea character.

Quantity: 7-8 grams for 150 ml of water
Water temperature: 85ºC. preferably fresh spring water, mineral water or filtered water
Brewing time: 10-20 seconds
Infusions: 10-12
