fragrant and elegant Dancong 5150023001oolong tea
honey orchid fragrance
from the highest-altitude tea garden on Phoneix mountain

From the tea gardens of the highest village on Mount Phoenix (Guandong Province), from an altitude of 1,400 metres, comes this softly roasted, incredibly fragrant, deep and elegant dancong oolong.
It has a distinctive fragrance of acacia, orange and almond. Its rich, citrusy flavour is complemented by a hint of hazelnut and a pleasantly refreshing sour edge. The creamy, round finish lingers for an unusually long time and its chaqi is deep and energising.

The name dancong (单枞) originally referred to teas that came from a single tree and were not mixed with other leaves; nowadays it is generally used for Phoenix Mountain (凤凰山, Fenghuang) oolongs. The names of dancongs refer to a specific flavour/scent of a particular tree, as can be seen in this case.

steamed fragrance: peach, passion fruit, amber
1. full, creamy, shockingly creamy
“round: as Bodhidharma meditates, curled up”
2.  floral, nice minerality, very good effect, strong, increases focus
3. the tropical fruit comes back, the aftertaste is brilliantly long
“Beyond Xiang”
oiliness, tropical fruit, minerality, silkiness, floral and impact. This is the essence of the tea bush.
“like drinking a stone – whiskey on the rocks”
4.
“What can be man’s feedback on tea?”
“What if tea has something to give to the world? and so this is the way it can give it.”
“The energy of love is present – the transmission.” /Csaba/
5. leads to wisdom
The tea has led us to great heights and contemplation. We were very grateful at this tasting event.
