Elegant green tea, early spring harvest
Floral and nutty notes with a refreshing vigor
Provides an uplifting yet relaxed mood

Elevation:
1600-1800 meters

Himalayan Evergreen is an elegant green tea with lightly toasted, buttery notes and a flowery and fragrant aroma. It is energizing, and uplifting, yet at the same time relaxing.

Brewing it at a lower temperature will bring out further floral notes. In our experience, this particular green tea matures very well, hence the name Evergreen.

We also recommend trying this tea in cold brews. 12-15g in 1 liter of cold water brewed for 12-15 hours overnight in the fridge.

All the Nepalese teas come from organic tea gardens, located in the Himalayas at an altitude of around 1800 meters. Because of this high altitude, each tea has added depth and appeal.

Dry leaves: Pine needle freshness with dried fruits, sour cherry, and oatmeal cookies mingled with a slight hazelnut and acorn nuttiness.

Wet leaves: Spinach pottage with artichoke and zucchini notes, which turns into a warm acorn and hazelnut nuttiness and finishes with a hint of dried mango.

Taste: This tea presents all the wonderful qualities of being organically produced, pan-roasted, and coming from the high mountains of the Himalayas. It provides a notable vegetable sweetness like sweet corn and snap peas with the freshness of pine needles. This tea finishes with a superb floralness that will leave you wanting to take another sip.

This tea is perfect for daily drinking and enjoying while picnicking basked in mountain air or next to a refreshing lake.

Quantity: 5-6 grams per 150ml
Water temperature: 80ºC. From fresh spring, mineral water, or filtered water
Brewing time: 15-20… seconds
Infusions: 5-6
