warm smoky notes and energy
calming aged sheng puer
flowing through the body and soothes the mind

Age of the Tea trees:
200 - 300 years

A soothing tea, perfect for unwinding. The well-matured tea leaves can be brewed at 95°C and steeped for a long time without bitterness. Alongside the familiar woody aroma and flavour of aged puer teas, there is also a subtle smokiness. It is smooth yet clear, offering everything we love and look for in a puer. The strength and energy of the tea (chá qi, 茶氣) is surprisingly strong. It is flowing through the body and soothes the mind. The warm notes are perfect for cold afternoons.

Yiwu is the biggest and most important of the six ancient tea-mountains. Ever since the Qing dynasty there has always been major tea trade; all the old puer cakes (like Songbing) originate from this area.

Quantity: 5-6 gramm per 150 ml
Water temperature: 90-95ºC. From fresh, spring water or filtered water
Brewing time: 10-20…seconds
Infusions: 10-12
