Region:
大雪山 - Da Xue Shan
Great Snowy Mountain
Yunnan Province, China

Every year we purchase one of our favorite sheng Puer teas from the Great Snow Mountain, Lincang, Yunnan province, China. We date back our teas from this tea garden since 2012 when we bought the first large stock from them. The tea trees are 200-300+ years old, while some are even older in the tea garden. The tea starts out soft and tender, but later the depth and craft of the old trees show up in the richness and strength of this tea.

Steamed gaiwan: deep and warm notes
Tastes, feeling: Mediterranean mood, matured, deep flavors. Freshly baked bread, hay, and tannins. It aged really nicely, and it brings an elevated feeling, we've got philosophical thoughts.

Quantity: 5-6 grams per 150 ml
Water temperature: 85-95ºC. From fresh, spring water, or filtered water
Brewing time: 10-15…seconds
Infusions: 8-12
