Da Xue Shan (大雪山), the Great Snow Mountain is located north of the other known puer cultivation areas. The northern exposure is also evident in the character of the teas, which tend to have a fresher, more floral feel compared to the soft fruitiness of the southern puers. We love the taste what this mountain has to offer and you can find every vintage since 2012 in our selection. Its fresh, floral, slightly peachy notes are a great pleasure in the early years, but as the tea matures, its flavours and effects become more refined.

Our producer friends process the tea with great care, even covering the leaves with gauze during the withering, which gives the teas a very elegant presence. The effect is gentle, but if you give it the attention it deserves, it can be a wonderful experience.

Quantity:6-7 grams for 150 ml of water
Water temperature: 85ºC. preferably fresh spring water, mineral water or filtered water
Brewing time: 10-15 seconds
Infusions: 8-12
