It’s not only the prime service you’ve received, the tea you’ve tasted, the effect it had on you, the selection of pottery that took your breath away, but the whole space, the interior, the little details with stick with you for a lifetime. Just like it happened with the Italian boy, who after leaving Budapest, found a porcelain bird on his way to Krakow. The rumour has it that it reminded him of Zhao Zhou and brought it to them as a present on his way back. Since then it has become a centre mascot of the shop.”

“Where do I start? Zhao Zhou is the best tea house in Budapest, without a question. Once you’re on their doorstep, you’ll be greeted and welcomed with attention. The interior is made for you to be able to relax and spend quality time. The place serves a great variety of teas and drinks like kombucha, but the most important aspect is that through a number of workshops and tastings the management brings the true tea culture to everyone who is open to it. What a fantastic place! The tea shop has an unofficial, cozy atmosphere. The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable. They will make you feel welcome and help you with your tea selection, so you don’t have to worry even if you aren’t a tea expert. The tea, of course, is amazing. I’ve never had such good Pu’Erh like here before. Coming here was truly an experience, can’t recommend it enough.”
