A kind and simple puer tea: it relaxes the whole body and gives a contemplative feeling. Huangpian (黄片, that is yellow leaf) teas are made of bigger, more mature leaves that are already turning to yellow, hence the name. Huangpians are usually less complex and softer, more balanced teas. It has a joyful taste of dried apricots and long, deep aftertaste. Perfect tea for afternoon recreations.

Mengsong is one of the southernmost tea-growing mountain area, which, in contrast with many others puer areas, still preserves its natural environment. With its hardly passable roads and the lack of human intervention it seems as tough it was an arboretum.

Quantity: 5-6 gramm per 150 ml
Water temperature: 85ºC. From fresh, cold spring water or filtered water
