The 10th Anniversary order from this tea garden. One of our favorite young sheng every year.
Fresh, and floral, we like to drink it now, but great for aging as well.
Every year we purchase one of our favorite sheng Puer teas from the Great Snow Mountain, Lincang, Yunnan province, China. We date back our teas from this tea garden since 2012 when we bought the first large stock from them. The tea trees are 200-300+ years old, while some are even older in the tea garden. The tea starts out soft and tender, but later the depth and craft of the old trees show up in the richness and strength of this tea.
Tasting notes:
Steamed gaiwan: elegant, soft
Tastes, feeling: gently lingering sweet tobacco, notes of peach and plum arise within each sip. Creamy texture like a mousse, with some soft grassy notes. Harmonious, lively, and inspiring tea.
Preparing Instructions:
Quantity: 5-6 grams per 150 ml
Water temperature: 85ºC. From fresh, spring water, or filtered water
Brewing time: 10-15…seconds
Infusions: 8-12
