Description
The Himalayan Imperial Black’s smaller brother. The 2021 summer harvest from the Jun Chiyabari Teagarden, this vintage has more golden tips and got lighter oxidization. The leaves were cut, which allows the rich notes of cocoa and chocolate to characterize the tea. Perfect for a breakfast brew.
Every Nepali tea we have originates from the organic Jun Chiyabari tea garden, located in the Himalayas around 1800 meters above sea level. Due to this clear-out area, in every tea, there lies a deep elation.
Tasting notes:
Steamed gaiwan: chocolate, cognac cherries, brownie
Tastes, feeling: Brownie, toasted scone, chocolate, amazing deep world of taste. Tobacco, molasses, and forest-like notes come later. This can be an excellent choice for breakfast with a nice pastry. Worth trying with oat milk also, it has an outstanding texture.
Preparing Instructions:
Quantity: 5 grams per 150ml
Water temperature: 95ºC. From fresh spring, mineral water, or filtered water
Brewing time: 10-15… seconds
