Description
Huangpian (黄片 – Huang Pian – Yellow leaves) refers to the 3rd and 4th leaves, which are yellower.
Harvested from 500 year old tea trees, this tea is just great for everyday drinking.
Already gives a soft, tender feel to what a great old tree can bring.
As the 3rd and 4th leaves are a bit harder, when dry, they break to very small parts, the absobtion surface is large.
When preparing the tea, be sure not to leave too long in the water as they can bring a bit bitter taste.
Preparing Instructions:
Quantity: 5-6 gramm per 250ml.
Water temperature: 90-95ºC. From fresh, cold spring water or filtered water.
Brewing time: 8-8-8-10…seconds
Infusions: 15-20
