Description
Chinese lidded bowl used for the infusion of tea leaves.
The use of gaiwans became a wide-spread during the late-Ming dynasty with the perfection of porcelain.
Its biggest advantage is that the adjustable lid allows us to precisely control the water’s flow and the infusion’s duration.
