Bulangshan Gushu Shu 2015 No.844
shu puer tea
Age of the Tea trees:
300+ years
Region:
Yunnan Province, China
Description
A characteristic shu puer that requires attention while drinking. Thanks to the delicate processing the tea is outstandingly clear and full of beautiful, unbroken leaves. As the ‘gushu’ (古树, 300+ years old trees) attribute suggests, the tea is strong in energy: it calms you down, clears the body.
It has the homey scent of hollow trees and earthy basements and a very complex taste. Earthy, beetroot-like body with fizzy, lively notes of fresh straw and an interesting, bitter edge that slowly turns into long-lasting mild aftertaste. After a few infusions, as the tea softens, the modest, woody notes become more and more dominant.
