Fujian Old Field Green QM 2019 No.342

A new vintage from our Gutian Old Field Green, from Gutian (古田, old field), Northeast Fujian.

The tea is characterised by a mesmerising lightness, which grabs the attention from the very first sip. Its mild greenness is combined with creamy notes of butter, which later turn into a long sweetness in the aftertaste. The tea solely consists of tiny leaves and young buds, which gives it an ethereal youthfulness.

Our friends have a small tea field in the southern regions. There, they cultivate old, semi-wild bushes, which makes a big difference in the tea: there is an extra deepness and cleanness to it.

Preparing Instructions:

Quantity: 5-6 gram per 150ml.
Water temperature: 80ºC. From fresh, cold spring water or filtered water.
Brewing time: 10-15…seconds
Infusions: 3-4
