Hubei Mountain Green 2019 No.343

Hubei Mountain Green is a refreshing green tea from the heart of China.
The tea is coming from an area, which has been deserted for decades. The bushes are living amongst the hills, far away from the cities. As a result, they have not seen any pesticides for the past few decades and so they are growing entirely naturally. What is more, it was specially plucked for us by villagers living nearby.

Its vibrant, vitalising greenness first turns into a mild astringency, just so as to give way to a final sweetness in the finish. Besides, a hint of chestnut also appears, due to the light heat-processing, called ‘killing the green’. Thanks to the traditional production method, it has an unique rustic character, which makes it stand out from all other greens.

Preparing Instructions:

Quantity: 5-6 gramm per 150ml.
Water temperature: 80ºC. From fresh spring water or filtered water.
Brewing time: 15-20…seconds
Infusions: 4-5
