Description

Classical black tea from the Nepali side of the Himalayas, from an amazing pesticide-free plantation. We bought this tea in 2014 firstly, since then it is one of our favorites from the Junchiyabari tea garden. This specific vintage has an outstanding complex world of taste. The really nice cocoa, caramel, and hazelnut notes amazed us immediately. We also recommend it to friends, who are not really into tea yet. When tasting teas, try to observe not just the flavors but the feeling and the effects on the body also.

Every Nepali tea we have originates from the organic Jun Chiyabari tea garden, located in the Himalayas around 1800 meters above sea level. Due to this clear-out area in every tea there lies a deep elation.

Tasting notes:
Steamed gaiwan: flowery, hazelnutty, and brownie
Tastes, feelings: The infusion has a beautiful rum-like color, and tastes like cocoa-banana biscuits, hazelnut spread, caramel, and more cocoa. The slight bitterness of it gives a pleasant feeling in the stomach, due to the digestive effect it’s also a good choice after a meal.
