Himalayan Orange 2017 No.627

This summer-harvest Himalayan Orange from 2017 is one of the most complex Nepali tea we have. Besides the usual fresh, citrus-like taste profile, it has a mild and somewhat darker character as well. Notes of roasted seeds, fresh bread and, when infused longer, a touch of smokiness appears. A nice and lightsome black tea, ideal for starting the day.

Every Nepali tea we have originates from the organic Jun Chiyabari tea garden, located in the Himalayas around 1800 meters above sea level. Due to this clear-out area in every tea there lies a deep elation.

Preparing Instructions:

Quantity: 5 gramm per 150ml
Water temperature: 95ºC. From fresh spring, mineral water or filtered water
Brewing time: 5-10… seconds
Infusions: 4-5
