Description

Himalayan Spring Orange is a lightsome spring-harvest black tea.
This is a refreshing tea with intense green notes due to the early harvest and the relatively light oxidation level.
The mildly sweet, IPA-like flavors are combined with hay, citrus-like scent. Kind, joyful tea that is perfect to start a day with.

Every Nepali tea we have originates from the organic Jun Chiyabari tea garden, located in the Himalayas around 1800 meters above sea level. Due to this clear-out area, in every tea, there lies a deep elation.

Tasting notes:

Steamed gaiwan: Fresh hay, orange, chili, nettle.
1. pouring, 85 °C: Cooling bitter notes, like in the white part of the orange. We should try this with a little bit cooler water.
2.-5. pouring 80°C: We found the ideal temperature. Gentle tastes with citrus, candied orange, kumquat

Preparing Instructions:

Quantity: 5-6 grams per 250ml
Water temperature: 80ºC. From fresh spring, mineral water, or filtered water
Brewing time: 15-20… seconds
Infusions: 5-6
