The premium version of our Li Shan (梨山, Pear mountain) high-mountain green oolong with really strong chaqi, coming from 2000 meters above sea level. The high mountains always give some uplifting feeling, which is strongly sensible in this tea also. Worth giving much more attention and time for the tasting, really good for friendly conversations.
A high-mountain (1800-2000 meters) green oolong from one of Taiwan’s best-known tea growing areas. The cooler air of the mountain is beneficial for tea plantations and pear growing, hence its name Li Shan (梨山), which is Pear Mountain. Due to the high mountain climate, the leaves remain smaller, softer, and tea is more intense in tastes and effects also.
Steamed gaiwan: chamomile, herbs from the meadow
Tastes, feelings: We find some herb-like taste in the first steepings, chamomile, and creamy goat milk. It has a greener favor than the 1800 meter Li Shan, probably due to the shorter drying. Strong green notes, garden vegetables, long-lasting aftertaste. The power of the high mountains is soonly sensible, we’ve got eternal calmness.
