Our all-time favorite is sweet Taiwanese black tea for the happy day starting or nice forest walks. The amazing taste of it is a mixture of the classical black tea notes, like cocoa, chocolate, and the fragrant Taiwanese notes, like slightly caramel, pumpkin, and sweet potato.

Zhongliao is situated in central Taiwan, Nantou county (南投). The northern Wu, or Black River (烏溪) and the southern Zhoushui river (濁水溪) embrace this area, providing it with a perfect climate for tea growing. Besides, south of its borders, at the feet of the mountains spreads out the Sun-Moon lake (日月潭), a most charming vista indeed.

Tasting Notes:
The 90 ºC is just perfect for this tea, at 95 ºC it can bitter a little.

Water temperature: 90-95ºC. From fresh spring, mineral water, or filtered water
